A 25-year old man has been arrested and booked into the Muskogee, Oklahoma County jail in connection to a mass shooting in which five children were killed on Tuesday.
Jarron Pridgeon was arrested by Muskogee Police early Tuesday morning, with one officer firing on the armed felon after he attempted to evade arrest. Police responding to reports of a shooting discovered seven individuals who had been shot at a home Pridgeon fled from. Five of the victims were children.
In particularly gruesome fashion, the youngest child that Pridgeon allegedly killed was as young as one year old. A three year old, a five year old, a six year old, and a nine-year old were also shot and killed in the mass shooting. Pridgeon’s brother, 24-year old Javarion Lee, was also found dead at the scene. The mother of the five children, Brittany Anderson, was also shot, and is in critical condition at an area hospital. Read more…
