How Travis Scott Could Have Stopped the Astroworld Tragedy

Following the tragedy at Astroworld, netizens are calling out Travis Scott for not doing enough to help audience members who were in danger.

Last weekend, during Travis Scott’s performance, 8 people died in a crowd surge and 13 others remain hospitalized. Scott has received plenty of criticism for what happened at his show, as well as for past concerts that have led to fan injuries, lawsuits, and Scott being arrested. One of the common criticisms of Scott about his most recent concert is that he didn’t do enough to help fans in distress or help with crowd control.

Now, TikTok, Reddit, Twitter and more are dredging up footage from other performers’ concerts in which they’ve paused their show to help a fan in need as examples of what should have happened. Read more…
