As you may already be aware, there are currently 5G towers being placed throughout your community. Although these towers have been thrown up throughout the year, they have recently doubled in their placement while everyone is locked away in their homes…can you say thank you, quarantine? Well, while we are all sitting and waiting on our government to tell us it’s alright to walk outside once again, the world of technology has advanced around us…with or without our consent.
The 5G towers are promising to provide us all with speedy downloads and streaming, among a host of other things. In one single building, for example, an entire group of individuals can communicate on multiple levels in one instant, which of course will be much faster than the pace given by 4G. The technology is a bit complicated, however, it guarantees that we will live a life that will be much smarter! We will have smarter self-driving cars, smart homes, smart communities, and even smarter cell phones.
This is all wonderful considering the fact that we are a society of individuals who always crave more, more, and more. We can’t help but to push forward in our desire to improve each situation and to test the next level toward progression. With such progress technologically, can there possibly be a downside? Is there a price that we will all have to pay for the sake of progress? If so, what is it and can we choose to deny technological advancements if we feel the price isn’t worth paying?
According to author Lloyd Burrell in his article entitled “5G Radiation Dangers-11 Reasons to be Concerned” we are definitely headed toward a life that will not only make our lives easier through technology, but we are also going to pay the price physically.
Based on Burrell’s study, the radiation that emits from the 5G towers will not only damage the environment and ecosystem, but it will also damage our cells—leaving us all more susceptible to cancer and other ailments that can limit our life span.
According to Burrell, “thousands of studies link low-level wireless radiofrequency radiation to exposures to a long list of adverse biological effects, including:
- DNA single and double-strand breaks
- Oxidative damage
- Disruption of cell metabolism
- Increased blood-brain barrier permeability
- Melatonin reduction
- Disruption to brain glucose metabolism
- Generation of stress proteins”
All studies surrounding the effects of 5G on the human body seem conclusive and they all agree that the radiation from the towers will do more harm than good to our physical bodies and our mental wellbeing. Given this fact, is it possible to advance technologically without doing any harm to ourselves? Unfortunately, many experts feel this isn’t possible.
With every advancement to improve our human experience we sacrifice our own wellbeing, as well as the safety of our environment. Although many people throughout the world are fighting the advancement of most technology by tearing down 5G towers that are placed near their homes, they are still facing a world that will continue to move forward at any and all cost to ensure a smarter world.
When you think about it, the world isn’t really as smart as it would like you to believe. What human creates technology that has the ability to eliminate jobs, harm the environment, and kill other humans? This is the true question that we need to consider when we think of how far we are all willing to go in the name of technology. It isn’t an easy call because we have two forces within us that are constantly fighting one another: the need to advance and the need to survive. In time, we shall truly see which force will win.
