Why Melania Trump is a Role Model for Young Girls

Having a good role model to look up to is important for young children, whether it’s a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or a family friend.  It helps children create their own identity, learn about things they may not have been exposed to in their normal daily routines – and allows for different styles of communication or expressions.

Even though it seems that kids these days have their lives made in the shade, they still need someone else to look up to other than their parents.  Good role models make positive impacts on others’ lives, helping them see what the world has to offer.

Melania Trump is a symbol of today’s proud American woman.  She’s a woman with a mind of her own, has the determination to stick to her goals, and personifies a spirit of strength and courage to face whatever criticism comes her way.

She gives hope to American families, immigrants, and young women, showing people across the world that with hard work and dedication, you can achieve your goals and reach beyond your limits.

Beyond her beauty and wealth, there were lessons she learned from her own experiences: Melania is an immigrant, a mother, step-mother, former model, and now, First Lady of the United States.

As a successful, proud female immigrant, she shows how you shouldn’t be afraid to speak your mind – regardless of what others say about you.  Day after day, Melania dismisses the rigor of liberal scorn and carries on about her day in the most professional way, despite the negativity –  something all school-aged children face and can relate to at some point in their school year.

To the female immigrants who struggle with English language proficiency, Melania is someone they could see as part of themselves.  The Census Bureau reported in 2013 that 1:5 Americans speak a foreign language and 61.8 million speak a language other than English at home.

At one point in her career, Melania was a successful international model. She worked her way up in a notoriously demanding and unforgiving industry and gained international recognition through her hard work.  Everywhere you look, she has dressed appropriately, beautifully, and with the utmost class.

She represents the woman who is asked a million times what country she is from because of her foreign accent, and isn’t afraid to open up for fear of being misunderstood or to be the brunt of a leftists joke.

As the step-mother of a blended family, she proves that you can be a powerful team player, too.  Most step-families will agree that learning how to blend together requires work and commitment to the marriage and each other.  And Melania has proven that blended families can work very well together, where everyone can be respected, heard and get along.

The Trump family has demonstrated through the adversity they are a strong family and a strong team.  With Melania Trump in the White House, there’s new hope for American women striving to attain their own version of the American Dream.

There are many smart, pretty women out there, but it takes considerable effort, determination, and talent to succeed.   Melania has proven this time and time again and continues to support the United States of America precisely the way a First Lady should.

  1. Really. I bet if she was married to a democratic president your perspective would be totally different.

She was a gold digger, mistress, nude model, and illegal immigrant. Great role model.
    Be best.

  2. Wow. A great role model if you want your daughter to become a porn star who sells herself into a loveless marriage.

    • Your talking about Obama’s mother. Look it up she was a whore. Get your facts straight before you post

    • As much as I don’t like Trump, I don’t *think* that she’s ever done porn. Also, there’s nothing shameful about sex work, sex workers don’t sell their bodies any more than coal miners do, they’re just using what they can to earn a living.

  3. Melania is a good role model for girls who (1) want a spoiled adulterous PIG for a husband. (2) Who want fake beauty from costly plastic surgery, so Hubby will be pleased with his toy. (3) Who want to strip their clothes for the world to see everything Hubby has seen… shapely hind end, melon-boobs, etc.

  4. She’s a wonderful role model for girls, she can show them how your husband can lie and have affairs and you stay with him.to do it again and again.

  5. Michelle Obama went to two Ivy League schools. This chick was a nude model…..

  6. Cheryl Fewell-Brown

I completely agree with the article. My mail order bride sister in law is from a similar area and is similarly beautiful and classy. Funny thing, I bet you weren’t calling Bill Clinton a pig and Hillary a gold digger.

  7. So if you teenage daughter stripped naked you would be proud . Go ahead look up to her. But I remember not so long ago Michelle Obama being scolded fir having bare arms . Double standard

  8. You libtards just got trolled! You’re so wrapped up in your left wing psychoses that you can’t see good old satire!

  9. Ms. Rez: With all due respect, I disagree. Mrs. Trump has largely made her way in thise world based solely on her looks, which is more a testament to her God given gifts than to her abilities and achievements. She is our First Lady merely by coincidence of marriage – a marriage in which she hardly an equal partner. Worse, she is married to a man who is a serial philanderer at best and suspect misogynist at worse. Citing Mrs. Trump as a role model for young women only perpetuates the stereotype of women as sex objects, based on their looks and the success of the men to whom they attach themselves. That is not to say that Mrs. Trump is not a good and decent person, but if we’re looking for role models for young women, someone like Ruth Bader Ginsburg would be a far better choice.

  10. It will be interesting to see if this reply is published–

Ms Rez——where should we start? Let’s go to paragraph 3. She “might” be a woman with a mind of her own, but you/we have no idea what her goals are. Paragraph 4—hard work and dedication???
At what? Dedicated to what? Standing still for hours in order to take a picture might be considered hard work by some, but I’m not sure a laborer or nurse or maid thinks its a very difficult chore.
I guess she gives hope to immigrants that they, too, might marry a very rich person and bring her parents into this country using the same “chain immigration” techniques her husband is trying to outlaw.
Being a step-mom or mom when money is no object just isn’t too difficult. You might want to talk to single moms who fight every day to keep their families safe and above financial water.
I doubt she represents the woman who speaks with a foreign accent and is told to “go back to your own country” by her husband’s supporters. I doubt that “leftists” are quite so insensitive.
Your paragraph regarding blended families is just such a pile of tripe that I can’t even respond.
I will assume that she is a perfectly nice person who did not ask to be put in the position that she is in, but your attempt to make her special is so specious (you might want to look this word up), as to make me question your reasoning skills. You draw conclusions out of thin air.
As first lady, just what exactly has she done???? There are many, many women who are trying to figure out why she would stay with a husband like him. Pre-nup? or what? Honestly, would you stay married to someone who acts the way he does toward, women, immigrants, blacks and everyone else who is not white and rich? Have you really convinced yourself that all the women are lying and that he has not cheated on her. He cheated on Ivanka and bragged about it in the New York papers. See, the “failing New York Times” used to be his friend. She is perhaps the last women I would want my daughters to emulate. A model she is, but a ROLE MODEL?….not so much.
