“Bad Boy” Rapper’s Moment of Truth

It would appear that “on again off again” rapper Kanye West had a “come-to-Jesus” moment, or to be more precise a “come-to-Trump” moment, and the frenzied left are going out of their collective minds.

West perhaps best known for his number one single “Gold Digger” in 2005 along with his marriage to buxom Kim Kardashian and his over-the-top antics of jumping on stage at music awards shows, set the twitter world on fire last week, when he announced his support for our Commander-in-Chief.

The rabid left was in full meltdown mode, as the talking heads on CNN, MESBC, NBC, ABC, began collectively trashing the bombastic entertainer, however perhaps the most interesting take came from Democratic strategist Joel Payne appearing on FOX News.

“It’s not surprising to me that Kanye would be down with Donald Trump, I don’t think that should be surprising to anybody.”

Payne continued; “You’ve got one rich, famous millionaire supporting another rich, famous millionaire. Neither of them understands the problems that regular Americans face.”

The obvious irony in Payne’s remarks is that HOLLYWOOD is full of far left millionaire celebrities living in a bubble supporting one another, and collectively bashing the President on a regular basis.

Moreover, this President, perhaps more than any other, including his predecessor Barack Obama, was elected because of his commitment to the working middle class in Middle America, which Democrats like Payne have long ago abandoned.

West began his new found “love affair” for the President on Tuesday when he began a marathon Twitter war with many of his disoriented followers.

“You don’t have to agree with trump, but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”

That tweet was followed by yet another lucid and quite rational post; “If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary
I love Hillary too.”

The stunning backlash and support for West is actually a microcosm of where America is as a society today, within moments of his praise for the President progressives immediately began trashing the rapper as a “sell-out”  while conservatives suddenly had a new “best friend.”

Joe Coscarelli of the New York Times in an op-ed headline wrote; “In Kanye West, the Right Sees Truth-Telling and a Rare A-List Ally”

West’s praise of the President wasn’t lost on the man himself, tweeting out;

“Kanye West has performed a great service to the Black Community – Big things are happening and eyes are being opened for the first time in Decades – Legacy Stuff! Thank you also to Chance and Dr. Darrell Scott, they really get it (lowest Black & Hispanic unemployment in history).”

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 27, 2018

However perhaps the most insightful exchange came from singer John Legend as the backlash grew against West from the rabid left, tweeting; “Hey it’s JL. I hope you’ll reconsider aligning yourself with Trump,”

Legend continued; “You’re way too powerful and influential to endorse who he is and what he stands for. As you know, what you say really means something to your fans. They are loyal to you and respect your opinion.”

Adding (almost a warning to West), “So many people who love you feel so betrayed right now because they know the harm that Trump’s policies cause, especially to people of color. Don’t let this be part of your legacy. You’re the greatest artist of our generation.”

Legend’s disturbing tweet gives us a rare glimpse into progressive dogma, equal only to that of a fanatical religious cult, on the verge of drinking the Kool-Aid

WOW, how lost are the far left? Do they not realize it was BHO that divided this great country of ours? They are literally blaming Trump for what happened before he even became POTUS.
It is typical of liberals to blame others for their very own actions.

    • Couldn’t agree with more! The double-standard of the lunatic LEFT astonishes me everyday….It perplexes me to the point of exhaustion.
I have written a fictional book highlighting on every bit of the LEFTS hypocrisy. W/O saying so much, I have run into a brick wall finding anyone to represent it in the agency world lead by leftists.
Theres half the country that wants/thinks like the way I wrote my book and my voice is being silenced by the leftist world that claims to be for the voice of everyone but really only means thise who agree with them.
A shame, real shame they have forgotten/disregarded the opposing voice they claim to represent and cherish.
Any thoughts or comments from you email me at [email protected]

  2. RE: Preston Lambert—what article are you referring to? Your comment seems to have nothing to do with the Kanye West article.

I would ask everyone who agrees with the article to ask themselves what they honestly thought of Kanye West before he came out and supported Trump. Has their entire opinion of the man totally changed ONLY because of his political(and I am not so sure of this) opinion? Do you agree with him that slavery was a choice? Honestly????
Was he a thug before and now an elder statesman for the African-American population of the US?
I am reading this morning that he is walking back on some of his statements.
He also said that Martin Luther King and others were too old, too far back in history, to be relevant?
Does that apply to Jesus—a really old guy.? How about Billy Graham? Or General Patton? Roosevelt?

  3. I think Kayne West did it purely to get some focus and publicity on him and who better to do that with than
“The President.” Who seems to be a constant focal point.
He got his couple of minutes of recognition, where the
President even made some comment about inviting him
to dinner. at a future date.He seems to have a tendency to react like
this and made his presence known when Taylor Swift
was receiving an award. as well. He wasn’t happy at the time about her accepting that award and interrupted her
when getting the award by jumping on stage when she
    was speaking.

  4. Bob A., thanks so much for the post.Much thanks again. Really Cool.
